The resulting images are translated into an online platform and series of video narratives that explore European identity.

Transnationalspaces.eu presents a collective imaginary of what Europe means to its young citizens, from the polar opposites of Generation Identity (a pan-European conservative right group) to the Erasmus generation.
Forty disposable cameras were distributed across Europe to young citizens and residents currently living in a “foreign” country within the European Union.
This call delivered an approximate number of 600 images, capturing daily-life situations… However, a second reading of the images became the source to discover that in fact a European policy resides behind each case.
